The FPTA Academies Trust is a multi-academy trust based in Medway, which presently consists of three secondary schools and two junior schools and is currently recruiting for a Super Purchaser to support the Finance function within the Trust. We are a growing, multi-academy trust within the educational charity sector with approximately 450 employees across the five sites.
The Super Purchaser role will undertake responsibilities as a member of the Central Finance Team, ensuring that all major purchases and contracts are cost effective. To monitor and oversee the purchase order patterns ensuring value for money. With at least one year’s knowledge working within an Academy and having achieved or working towards Accounting Technician Qualification.
You must have an excellent working knowledge of
- Microsoft Excel
- experience working with purchase and sales ledger systems
- working with PS Financial system
- experience in supplier contract negotiations
- experience in financial management
