The Williamson Trust is a multi-academy trust based in Medway. Our family of schools include two secondary schools and four primary schools. Our core purpose is to transform the life changes of young people through education. This purpose is underpinned by two core, unshakeable beliefs that inform our work as a family of schools.
- Every child deserves to attend a great school
- Every member of staff deserves great support and challenge
This will enable our pupils, regardless of their background, the opportunity to go to university or pursue the career of their choice.
Our continued success depends on each one of us doing our part to uphold these beliefs in our day-to-day work and in all the decisions we make. For this reason we have high expectations of every pupil and every adult which will ensure that all children and young people attend an outstanding school, or one that is on a journey to outstanding because exceptional leadership teams work collaboratively to further improve provision and outcomes in their own and each other’s schools.
In return we want to help you to be the best that you can be, to stretch yourself as well as your pupils and to meet and exceed your career ambitions. As an Academy we are committed to the professional development of all colleagues in order to enhance our pupils’ learning. We offer career coaching, personalised development and wider opportunities through the Medway Teaching Schools Alliance (MTSA).
We are seeking a Caretaker to join our Estates Team who will be responsible for the security of the school buildings and grounds, undertaking the repair and cleaning of premises, fixtures and fittings. Please note - to meet the needs of the academy it may be necessary to work a shift rota. You will need to have experience of undertaking minor maintenance and repairs along with a thorough understanding of health and safety regulations. The role is split between two of our academy sites – Elaine Primary Academy and Stoke Community School and travelling between both on a daily basis is required therefore having access to your own transport is essential. We may also consider applications to work on either site on a part-time basis. Please note overtime during school holidays maybe available but cannot be guaranteed.
We welcome informal visits to the Academy to help you make your decision as to whether or not our vision and values match your beliefs and you could fulfil your career ambitions with us.
