Relief Position (Work will include evenings and weekends)

All year round

 

The Academy of Woodlands is looking to recruit an enthusiastic individual to join our team on a relief basis. You will be providing a reception service for our Arts, Nursery & Sports Centre reception areas.

The hours worked will be in a shift pattern and will be to cover annual leave and sickness absence as well as providing cover at busier times. You will have good IT skills, be flexible and preferably you will have a first aid qualification or a willingness to be trained.

The Academy of Woodlands is a successful community school that provides facilities for use by both the local and wider community; we are open seven days per week between the hours of 7.30am and 10.00pm.

The Academy is a fast paced working environment it is therefore essential that the successful candidates are self-motivated with excellent organisational skills and will need to be happy working under pressure in a very busy office. You will need to be able to work using your own initiative, as well as being a team player who will be required to liaise across all of our departments.

The role involves considerable personal interaction with staff, pupils, parents, clients and the general public. Responsibilities are undertaken in a very public area and are of a constantly changing nature.
