The school is looking to recruit a member of staff to support a child with identified special needs.

The role will be both rewarding and challenging too, so you need to be resilient, calm, composed and have the ability to manage challenging behaviour and re-focus distracted leaners. You will be supporting an infant aged child to access primary school life both academically and socially.  This will involve a combination of 1:1 and small group teaching and some supervision of non-learning times such as play/lunch times.

You will ideally have a background in working with young people or adults with challenging behaviour and have worked in educational or health and care settings.

We would love you to visit our school and discover first hand why you need to consider working here.

Please contact the school office on 01634 332550 and speak to Mel our School Business Manager or email her on melaniep@wainscottschool.org.uk if you wish to view the school.
